A Sad Reality

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

"Today, many people wish to fight like Sahabah (RadiaAllaahu 'anhum) did in the Battle of Badr, but the truth is that they can't even fight the Battle of Fajr!

O Allaah protect us from the sickness of the heart, which is, wishing, dreaming and willing, but not acting upon it!"

Amazing story about Shaykh Ahmad An-Najmee

Amazing story about Shaykh Ahmad An-Najmee:

The following story was related to me by Alee Zayd al-Madkhalee, the son of our noble shaykh Zayd al-Madkhalee hafidhahumallaah, and it took place during Shaykh Ahmed an-Najmee's stay in hospital in Riyaad.
It is a conversation that occurred between Shaykh Ahmad hafidhahullaah and one of the doctors:

Shaykh Ahmad asked the doctor, 'Who is this person that is standing next to the window?'  The doctor said to the Shaykh, 'Where is he?'.  So Shaykh Ahmad said, 'He is standing by the window'.

So the doctor said to Shaykh Ahmad, 'Describe him for me'.  So the Shaykh said 'He is wearing white garments and on his head is something like a white cloud'.

Then on another day the doctor came back to the Shaykh and asked, 'Has that visitor returned?'  So the Shaykh said 'Yes verily he is standing over there.'

When this story was related to Shaykh Zayd al-Madkhalee he said, 'He is an angel insha'allah'.  Allahu Akbar!!! May Allaah preserve our mashayakh and cure them with a complete cure. Ameen.

the last sermon ‘Umar b. ‘Abd Al-‘Aziz – Allâh have mercy on him

It is reported that the last sermon ‘Umar b. ‘Abd Al-‘Aziz – Allâh have mercy on him – delivered was as follows:

He praised Allâh and said,

“You were not created in vain, nor will you be left without purpose. Verily, you have an appointed time in which Allâh – the Most High – will come down to judge you. Wretched and ruined will he be who leaves the mercy of Allâh and is denied a Garden whose width is that of the heavens and Earth. Know you not that no one will be safe tomorrow save one who is wary of today and fears it; and sells the transitory for what will remain, and the little for the plenty, and fear in exchange for security [in the hereafter]? See you not that you are in the loins of the dead, to be taken by those who remain after you, until all matters return to the Best of Inheritors? Every day, [in the funerals] you accompany those returning to Allâh the Mighty and Sublime, having spent their time, until you hide them in a crevice in the ground, in the belly of a bare and unfurnished hole, having parted from their loved ones, stroking the dirt and facing their accounts. Now, they are dependent on their deeds, free of what they left behind, in need of [the deeds] they put before them. So fear Allâh before the time He appointed is up and death descends upon you. This is what I have to say.”

He then lifted the edge of his garment over his face and wept profusely, and made everyone around him weep.

And What Have The Qaadiyanees Got To Say After This?!

If Allaah تعالى wanted a Prophet after our Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, then Ibraaheem ibn Muhammad would have lived after him (Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم)!

Narrated Ismaa`eel: I asked Ibn Abi `Aufaa رضي الله عنه: Did you see Ibraaheem, the son of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم? He said: “Yes, but he died in his early childhood. Had there been a Prophet after Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم then his son would have lived, but there is no Prophet after him.”

[Saheeh al-Bukhaaree (6194)]

Ibn Abi `Aufaa رضي الله عنه said: “Were there a Prophet after the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, his son (Ibraaheem) would not have died.”

[Musnad of Imaam Ahmad (19109) and it is “Saheeh” as per the conditions of al-Bukhaaree and Muslim.

This Hadeeth, even though it appears to be Maqoof (statement of the Companion), it is still treated as Marfoo` (as a statement of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم) because he (Ibn Abi `Aufaa) could not have said it from his own because this is from the matters of the Unseen in which no personal opinion is allowed.]

Anas bin Maalik رضي الله عته said: “Had Ibraaheem, the son of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, been alive, He would have been Siddeeqan Nabiyyaa (man of Truth (and) a Prophet).” [Musnad Ahmad (12358, 13985) and Shaikh al-Albaanee graded the chain of this narration as “Saheeh” upon the condition of Muslim. See al-Dha`eefah (1/388)]

Quote Of The Week

Abdul-Azeez Al-Qurashee related that he heard Sufyaan say: “Practice Zuhd (seeking little from this world out of a desire for the rewards of the Hereafter), for Allaah will then make you see the defects of this world.

Practice Al-Wara (fearing Allaah to the degree that one forsakes dubious and certain lawful things for the fear that they will lead to what is prohibited) and Allah will make your accountability (on the Day of Resurrection) easier for you.
And when you are in doubt about something (about whether it is lawful or not), leave it and instead go after something regarding which you have no doubts (as to its lawfulness). For when you leave what is doubtful and stick to what you are sure about, you will remain safe in your religion.”

Did you know??

Do you know that the angles who carry the Throne made Dua for you ?

Do you know that also Noah (عليه السلام) made Dua for you ?

What if you know that Ibrahim (عليه السلام) has also made Dua for you ?

Yes, and also Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) has made Dua for you.

Here you see where the Angles made Dua for you,
Allah said: Those (angels) who bear the Throne (of Allah) and those around it glorify the praises of their Lord, and believe in Him, and ask forgiveness for those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah) (saying): “Our Lord! You comprehend all things in mercy and knowledge, so forgive those who repent and follow Your Way, and save them from the torment of the blazing Fire! [Ghafir: 7]

And this is where Noah (عليه السلام) made Dua for you,
Allah said: “My Lord! Forgive me (Noah), and my parents, and him who enters my home as a believer, and all the believing men and women. And to the Zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers, and disbelievers, etc.) grant You no increase but destruction!” [Nuh: 28]

And this is where Ibrahim (عليه السلام) made Dua for you ,
Allah said: “Our Lord! Forgive me (Ibrahim) and my parents, and (all) the believers on the Day when the reckoning will be established.” [Ibrahim: 41]

And this is where we know that the last Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) made Dua for you,
Allah said: So know (O Muhammad SAW) that La ilaha ill-Allah (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah), and ask forgiveness for your sin, and also for (the sin of) believing men and believing women. And Allah knows well your moving about, and your place of rest (in your homes). [Muhammad: 19] And

no doubt the Messenger responded to what Allah ordered him to do.

The Men of Knowledge

Al Baaji (رحمه الله) reported that Imam Malik (رحمه الله) said:
Indeed the people are four types in terms of their knowledge

A man who learnt knowledge, so he acted by it and taught it. His similitude in the Book of Allaah, the Most High is: إِنَّمَا يَخْشَى اللَّـهَ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ الْعُلَمَاءُ –
“It is only those who have knowledge among His slaves that fear Allaah.” 35:28

A man who learnt knowledge, so he acted by it but did not teach it. His similitude in the Book of Allaah, the Most High is:إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَكْتُمُونَ مَا أَنزَلْنَا مِنَ الْبَيِّنَاتِ وَالْهُدَىٰ مِن بَعْدِ مَا بَيَّنَّاهُ لِلنَّاسِ فِي الْكِتَابِ ۙ أُولَـٰئِكَ يَلْعَنُهُمُ اللَّـهُ وَيَلْعَنُهُمُ اللَّاعِنُونَ –
“Verily, those who conceal the clear proofs, evidences and the guidance, which We have sent down, after We have made it clear for the people in the Book, they are the ones cursed by Allaah and cursed by the cursers.

”A man who learnt knowledge, taught it and commanded it, but did not act by it. His similitude is the Book of Allaah, the Most High is: أَتَأْمُرُونَ النَّاسَ بِالْبِرِّ وَتَنسَوْنَ أَنفُسَكُمْ وَأَنتُمْ تَتْلُونَ الْكِتَابَ ۚ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ –
“Enjoin you Al-Birr (piety and righteousness and each and every act of obedience to Allah) on the people and you forget (to practise it) yourselves, while you recite the Scripture [the Taurat (Torah)]! Have you then no sense?” 2:44

A man, who neither learnt knowledge, nor acted by it. His similitude in the Book of Allaah, the Most High is: إِنْ هُمْ إِلَّا كَالْأَنْعَامِ ۖبَلْ هُمْ أَضَلُّ سَبِيلًا -”They are only like cattle; nay, they are even farther astray from the Path. (i.e. even worst than cattle).” 25:44
